National Night of Prayer for Life and Rorate Candlelight Golden Mass


The National Night of Prayer for Life began on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM with the Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Following Mass, the Blessed Sacrament was exposed. The Four sets of Mysteries of the Holy Rosary were recited along with the singing of hymns. The Prayers and Chaplet to Saint Michael, the Recitation of Psalm 51 with arms outstretched were among the prayers prayed National Hour of Life at Midnight in which we were united with 20 Parishes in the Archdiocese of New York and many others around the country.

The All Night Vigil before the Blessed Sacrament continued with Prayers to the Holy Black Nazarene and Our Lady of Caysasay, the Chaplet of the Most Precious Blood and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Adoration concluded with the Procession and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

The National All Night Vigil of Prayer concluded with the Rorate Mass in Honor of Our Lady in Advent.
